Rachel’s tears over Strictly final

Strictly Come Dancing loser Rachel Stevens has admitted she was in floods of tears following Saturday night’s controversial final. “Everything was too much,” whined the emotional former S Club 7 singer. “I bawled – I was a blubbering wreck.”
The star also said she had an inkling that Holby City actor Tom Chambers might clinch the title before the votes had been counted and verified. “He has a massive fan-base out there and people love him,” said Rachel. “I had a sixth sense Tom would do it.”
But Rachel’s not the only who's been in tears over the results, with Strictly fans nationwide spending the weekend venting their collective spleens on various internet message boards. “The smug hoofer winning proves that in the end it’s a popularity contest and nothing to do with dancing ability,” raged one particularly incensed Tom-hater. Ouch!
Someone else who seems to be using the end of the series to vent her spleen is Wilnelia Forsyth, wife of under-fire octogenarian host Brucie. The ex-Miss World has been busy outing her husband’s bizarre sock rituals to the world’s press. Yes, socks.
“Bruce is a perfectionist who believes socks should be handwashed,” she revealed. “He hates it when his socks are balled, you know. When two are folded together, he says the elasticity goes.”
Oh well, it’s good to hear Mr and Mrs Forsyth still have an active socks life.
